U.S. Congressman Allen Boyd
Our Representative to the U.S. House of Reps will join us at 8:05 AM to explain his reasoning behind voting for the bailout package. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, 7:33 AMPreston has called him the face and future of the Republican Party. Jindal was sworn in as Lousiana's Governor in January 2008. He won 60 of 64 parishes and beat several other candidates to win without a run-off. Do not miss this interview. McCain offers proof of performanceSen. Barack Obama has repeatedly said that Sen. John McCain is a Johnny-come-lately to the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac problem. This note dated May 2006 would seem to prove that McCain is telling the truth. Dems prepare to spend more...it's a sicknessWith Sen. Barack Obama's nod, the Democratic controlled Congress is readying a another $150 billion package. CNN's Sanchez stunned by blacks who don't support Obama
This is classic. The video clip is in our Worthy Watching section, but still you can read the transcript, with commentary, here. The tactics of Obama supporters
Michael Barone's column is filled with information that should be considered by anyone who claims to be an American. Regardless of party, you should be concerned. The Case for Amendment 2: Exibit COn Friday, the Supreme Court of Connecticut ruled that the state law banning gay marriage was unconstitutional. It's the third state to rule as such. Proponents of Florida's Amendment 2 say, "Told you so!" Florida GOP showing weakness
It comes as no surprise to some TMS staffers that the Republican Party in the Sunshine State is struggling in efforts to get behind the McCain campaign. Where's Gov. Crist? Could 30,000 votes swing an election?
Well, the answer in Florida is a big yes and the Secretary of State is "surprised" that only 30,000 ineligible felons have the right to vote. Doesn't that make you feel warm and fuzzy? Healthy Expectations
Dr. Joe Camps joins us at 7:45 AM.

UPDATE: Connecticut High Court allows gay marriage Sometimes, timing IS everything. Friday the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled that a ban on gay marriage was...unconstitutional...which is exactly why Yes-2-Marriage is asking you to consider placing language protecting the definition of marriage IN the State constitution.

Depuy had tax issues, too The Florida PBA has been busy, this time finding evidence that Commissioner Ed Depuy had tax issues twenty-two years ago. You may remember that Depuy commented that challenger Akin Akinyemi's tax issues disqualified him as a responsbile candidate. Does it matter? We'll talk, you decide. Click Here
Florida ready for vote The Secretary of State is kind of sick of hearing it. The 2000 vote has been a thorn, and the subject of an HBO movie, and it's still being used to point fingers. Now, State Democrats have volunteer attorneys prepared to keep an eye on things. ACORN is involved, of course, which suggests that any voter registration turned in by them should be checked five times.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition The ABC home-improvement-on-steroids program is looking for families in our area that have an extraordinary stories and a remarkable need. We'll talk with the show's casting producer Jason Hammonds. You can e-mail your family recommendations (and include your contact info) to: CastNorthFL@gmail.com. The deadline is October 17. Polling experts: Marriage Amendment has wide support Though the numbers are now just below the 60% passage mark, most say the undecideds are likely to ensure victory for Amendment 2. Click Here
This is a little disturbing... Why would the Army be deploying units stateside "as an on-call federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks"? The Army Times goes on to say that the 1st Brigade Combat Team "may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control".
Dow drops another 678 points Well, here's hoping that bailout begins to start the old economy like promised. There's nothing quite like handing over control of banking to the government, dropping $700 billion, and having nothing to show for it. Click Here
Sen. Obama and Kenyan politician Raila Odinga It takes while to make it through all of the links, but it is worth it if you are interested in yet another dubious friend of Sen. Obama. Also, take a look at Worthy Watching to the left. You will want to watch the entire clip for a little context. You MUST READ this.
More questions on Obama-Ayers Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is sounding more meek every day as questions mount from more and more media outlets.
Washington Times: And then there's this... Some elements of this story have been confirmed by Obama campaign, but it appears Sen. Obama, shortly after capturing the Democratic nomination, went behind back of President Bush in the nature of a conversation with Iraqi officials. Effort was to delay Iraqi decisions on troop presence. Is that even legal?
Public Ed at its finest Welcome to Massachusetts, where teaching little elementary students about homosexuality is tax payer funded. Yes! Without comment the U.S. Supreme Court won't hear the case.
College of Law: Minorities should be admitted with lower scores. This should drive minority groups crazy. The Dean of the University of Nebraska Law School suggests admission waivers O.K. in the name of diversity.
Kids... Those crazy, wacky teenage years...Didn't we all snap photos of ourselves naked and hand them out? Today it's taken care of with a simple cell phone.
Reading Assignment: Dr. Walter Williams One of our favorite Morning Show guests penned this is nice and tidy little explanation of our economic mess and a strong rebuke of you and I, the electorate.

As you read this, catch the arrogance of the teacher's union rep among others. Click HereBE CAREFUL: Alec Baldwin ALERT!
However, this is a different Alec Baldwin. On Bill Maher's HBO show he actually blamed Democrats (including President Bill Clinton and Rep. Barney Frank) for their share of the housing mortgage mess. The Associated Press has given us all another example of agenda driven reporting (or at least headline writing. This time the headline suggests Hurricane Ike hurt the environment and says that at least half a million of gallons of crude got dumped into the Gulf. The only problem is that according to the U.S. Coast Guard, it's simply not true. How do these reporters live with themselves. Brits may ban spanking
Just another example of our world going to hell...this would actually stop parents from spanking their own child. Pelosi wants another "stimulus package"

Seems like an innocent mistake...the local VFW endorsed Commissioner Ed Depuy for reelection. Problem? The VFW can't endorse political candidates. What's interesting is that fellow Commissioner Bob Rackleff's name is in the story. It has been strongly suggested that Rackleff was also involved in some of Depuy's earlier media challenges.
